A eMMC/UFS dump file is the raw image Flash File which can be directly flash to eMMC/UFS. it has all boot partition Files and bootloader files. It is used for repairing Dead Booot or no Boot in existing eMMC/UFS or New eMMC/UFS.
This File Can be flash through any eMMC/UFS Flasher like UFI BOX, Easy JTAG, MIPI Tester etc.
Follow these steps to Flash a Dump File:
Download and Extract:
Begin by downloading the Dump File and extracting its contents on your computer. Ensure that you have a reliable source for the file to guarantee its authenticity.
Open EMMC Flasher Tool:
Launch your preferred EMMC Flasher Tool, such as Easy Jtag Plus, UFI BOX, MIPI Tester, or any other compatible tool you have at your disposal.
Connect EMMC or UFS IC:
Establish a secure connection between your computer and the EMMC or UFS IC (Integrated Circuit). Make sure the connection is stable and the device is recognized by the flasher tool.
Identify/Check eMMC:
Once the chip is connected, use the flasher tool to click on the “Identify” or “Check eMMC/UFS” option. This step ensures that the tool recognizes the connected EMMC or UFS IC and establishes communication with it.
Locate Dump File:
Navigate to the location where you extracted the Dump File. Ensure that you select the correct file corresponding to the device and issue you are addressing.
Initiate Flashing:
With the dump file selected, click on the “Start” button in the flasher tool. This will initiate the flashing process, transferring the contents of the dump file to the EMMC or UFS IC.
Monitor Progress:
Keep a close eye on the flashing process. The tool should provide real-time feedback on the progress, and you may see a percentage completion or a progress bar.
Completion and Verification:
Once the flashing process is complete, verify that the operation was successful.
in some cases, after flashing a dump file, it may be necessary to flash the official firmware as well.
